Leadership & The Proper Role of Government

Thomas Jefferson believed that everyone is born free, with the right to control their own life and actions. He said, “Under the law of nature, all men are born free, everyone comes into the world with a right to his own person, which includes the liberty of moving and using it at his own will.”

The Declaration of Independence reminds us that “All men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. Among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” This means we all have equal rights, and it’s the government’s role to protect these rights, not to grant them.

Every person should have a voice and a vote.

Building Leaders

Across The Country

The LIBRE Institute understands the importance of limited government for Hispanics in the U.S. who embed the dream of self-actualization and prosperity based on the exercise of freedom and opportunities. Leadership courses and LIBRE Talks are inspired by the need to create conscience about these values among Hispanic communities and especially younger generations, so they can live up to the American Dream. We believe freedom drives progress.

Freedom Drives Progress

We empower Hispanics to reach their American Dream and further progress for themselves, their families and their communities.

We engage and inform the U.S. Hispanic community on the benefits of a free and open society because Freedom Drives Progress.

The LIBRE Institute provides policy alternatives to those that advance government as the default cure to every social deficiency and elevates solutions that unleash all sectors to solve problems and help all to rise.

Together, we can work to break barriers that limit progress and cherish the values that for generations have allowed people everywhere to aspire, take action, and achieve the American Dream—because we know that freedom drives progress.
